What do you need to get software?
To get access to Esri services you use a unified Esri account, which you must create yourself on the Esri Accounts site or on the ArcGIS Online site. After creating an account, you will receive an email to activate it. Please note that an inactivated account cannot be used.
My Organization
In order to access your organization’s resources your Esri account must be linked to your organization. This can be done by filling out the request form at any convenient time.
Your Personal Area
After activation your account and association it with your organization your Your Personal Area on MyEsri site will be created. In this Personal Area you may:
- Download distributions and software updates in the Downloads section
- Activate your ArcGIS Online subscription
- Register your Developer Subscription.

Account unlocking
In case your Esri account was locked you have send the request to accounts@esri.com. yourselves. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to administer accounts in the Esri system.
License transferring
If you need to change the machine where floating and/or fixed licenses are authorized (ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Pro), then you must go through the deauthorization procedure to transfer license to another machine.
